Merry Christmas Sanjeeb,

I played (electric bass) at my church's Christmas eve concert and during some of the sections with just acoustic stringed instruments I couldn't help but imagine the singing sound of sitar...so many great old hymns and carols fit neatly into a pentatonic or modal form that lends itself to sitar. Sadly though I had to content myself to bass playing and listening this time!

Anyway, lovely adaptations of the traditional Christmas songs!

Here is an old pic from my band started in 1968.
I am 2nd from right.
Used to play and sing lot of rock and pop music then.
Have a good weekend.
Cheers
Sanjeeb.

really nice! I enjoyed it ! I was thinking how nice it would be to have some western tunes in Sargam as it would be a bit of a change from my more usual stuff - anything really - just for fun
