hi all im totally new to tabla and hindustani sangeet, sorry if this is a really simple question.
I was hoping one of you experts could please tell me which main taals are plaid in this great qawwali? The whole composition goes together so well! I would really appreciate your help.

Hi Guys,

On the same thread , can any of the senior people please explain the taal(s) used in this song. At times it appears it is clearly keharva, and at times it is dadra.

Hi Vinay,

It is not Keherwa, it is Khemta and Dadara.

Hope that helps.
