The worn thru hole on the top of Willie Nelson's guitar can't match Pandit Hindraj Divekar's European 2010 concert Rudra Veena.
There is a hole, in between the two front tuning pegs, and it looks like that part of the instrument is being held together with electrical tape and a jump rope.

Cool instrument.
I want a nice Rudra Veena.
I love the tone.

I think the cord is a 1/4 inch jack.
The electrical tape is to keep the cord attached.
I guess he has a built in pickup.

Yes that's is true. I once was at his house where he played for me. He had that same chord and pickup and also played amplified since the rudra veena is not very loud from itself.
There is also no hole. I think it is the shadow of that tuning bead or something.

Yup, the "hole" is the shadow of a swan bead.

Thanks for the eye-witness reports!
The yogis warn of the tricks that the mind will play.
My seeing a shadow as a hole, is similar to seeing a rope, in the dark, as a snake.
