Hello,
I find this sitar seems not a bad one, but with no brand tag, what's your opinion?
I guess from 1970's?

very nice!

Has some interesting features, the faceplate has a swan (carved in relief?) I would guess from convention, although its neck isn't very well rendered in that perspective  making it look more like a dove.  and the penwork on the faceplate is reminiscent of something, old Naskar sitars?  great carving and the tabli is a perfect quarter sawn piece of wood.

I haven't tried to count the frets there needs to be a full set of 20 if you aren't going to have to replace them, and they obviously need a cleanup (as does the whole sitar) and retying, that is a quite a skill to develop in itself...so there some work needed and of course no-one can say from pics how it will sound....
