Nice sitar , tarab pegs completely refit, nice big tabli and tumba, some flaking varnish on tumba near leaves. very nice sound & playability- I've tweaked all the sitars I'm offering so they are completely ready to go. Forumites may recall I built 2 sitars from scratch and I know from the inside out how a sitar is supposed to work. serious potential BUYERS feel free to PM me .
$750+ insured shipping, ca. $ 70-110?

Interesting penwork on the striker there....do you have a closeup? I'd like to copy it maybe in the future, don't usually see that sort of penwork on that level of sitar pretty cool...good luck with the sales...

Very pretty.

Is this teak ? Difficult to tell from the pictures but could be. Old teak sitars can be absolutely great.

Nice. Very nice.

If it wasn't for the fact I'm saving for my first trip to India, I take your arm off...

Ha ha. No! Absolutely nothing wrong with that sitar. In fact, its getting better! I'll PM you, rather than hijack this thread.
