Beautiful. I can't put my finger on it but I'm drawn to Shaukat's style - understated - he makes it sound so easy, so logical, natural and refined.

(The santoor makes for a nice unobtrusive nagma as well. Interesting...)

He is one of my favorites. Especially in sangat. I especially love his dhete dhete... he plays some Wonderful gats too from the punjab gharana that are now almost extinct.
