This is a great article on emerging musicians in ICM all who are under 40

I have seen Kaushiki perform and it is clear that she will leave a deep imprint on the landscape but some of these names were new to me so I thought I would share

Purabyan Chatterjee is the only sitar/sarod player in this very short list

It also talks about how these new musicians are much more comfortable about stepping out of traditional ICM into the world of fusion which many old masters thought was confusion (UVK, Kishori Amonkar, NB)

I have been impressed by this sitar/sarod duo who could possibly revive the PRS/AAK heyday when tehjugalbandhi was a very organic and special approach to a raga.

This is very close to the early PRS/AAK recording of Shree

They have great credentials and I hear many good things about them.

I have mentioned her before but this is a new video -- Joyeeta & Debojyoti Sanyal - Raag Malkauns a really tough raga to play on the sitar since it requires a lot of big meends.
