Good one Acelga
Few People really need to learn that, the instruments don't sweat, the palms do, so need to apply only as much is required to the palms and not poured on the pudi directly. Excess of powder can ruin the pudi, the sustain gets lowered or in some cases totally destroyed as layers upon layers of powder accumulate on the syahi and skin with help of the sweat. Keep a superfine polish paper with you and scrub off the powder from the pudi , "Gently".
the best powder is ShankhaJira, its an ayurvedic powder, and it doesn't get sticky when comes in contact with sweat, but if you can't get it then use Johnson's Baby powder , safe !!!
