Hi David,

I am posting this in the instruments section because I don't think anybody bothers to read the 'These Forums' section.

I think I made some contributions to this site over the years so allow me a comment.

The new layout is terrible. It is ugly, not userfriendly, hard to read and I simply don't see the point.
It was alright the way it was.

If it ain't broke don't fix it.

To me it looks like most other forums. No problems IMHO.

Hi David,

I do aplogize for my rather rude post above.

I dunno. This was always primarily a sitar forum. Blending all the topics into one category makes the forum less userfriendly. But at least , the forum still exists. That is a good thing !

No problem, It was never intended to be a sitar forum.  Having an excessive number of sub-forums impeded the interactions of people.  Since we have gone to this new format / software the usage has nearly tripled.  I am not suggesting that the merger of sub-boards is the only factor in this increase, but I think that it is one of them.

Really ? Tripled ? That's great !

But there is a problem, there are a number of instrument related topics in the General catgory.
People are not sure where to post.
I know you never intended this to be a sitar forum but that's what it became, by the simple laws of gravity.
