Well, waddayano ! He's the guy who did most of the etching on the sitars I co-produced while I was in Poontown ! Miraj, actually. Aside from his obvious skill, I made note of how he would step back and admire his work as well as do any necessary touchup work. Noteworthy to say the least. Very rare and most impressive. Glad to see him set up as his own company. Good chance he will be making instruments worthy of consideration.

While living in Poontown I bought what looked like a Dremel tool. Had the case, all the bits, grinding wheels, etc. Plugged it in (240 volts +- 100) and the stupid thing had zero torque. I could easily pinch the spinning bit with my thumb and finger - instant stop. So uh yeah ! No Dremel Tools ! ! !

wow- the sitar in the first pic looks quite lovely-if the sound and playability is good, this fellow's sitars should be great.

That's a sitar he did the carvings on for Naeem Sitarmaker, really nice work and took a long time. Will have it up on the site soon, all geared tuners, etc. Got it in about a week ago....

edit: looks like they took down the picture , the ones there now are not ones I'm carrying.
