Peshkar : In theory, supposed to be slow and measured, as in the fore-play of whales. In practice, often a 30 second countdown to the feeding-frenzy of sharks.
Qaida : No relation to Al-Qaeda; except on the insistence that no foreign words be introduced after a theme is established.
Chalan : the cat-walk of long-legged models, best enjoyed with a drink in hand and a rhythm synchronized with the imagined movement of their missing hips.
Tukda : Item. As in an item-song, a suggestive-song-and-dance-thingy-from-Bollywood-films, that is highly incontextelevant. (there, munch on that tukda).
Rela : a string of diwali firecrackers going off in a freight train transporting horses, precisely when the train is crossing a bridge over troubled, rushing waters. A Metaphorical Mayhem.
