Hey everyone,

Are there people out here that see practicing & playing tabla as a spiritual practice?
It takes so much time to learn tabla properly so the attitude you have towards that is in my opinion very important.

Of course music is often related to God or certain Deities. And most instruments have a Deity connected to it if I'm right...

So I'd love to hear some opinions on this how people would see practicing tabla as a sadhana and talk a little more about this..

All the best,
Vivek

ICM to me is not just a practice in music but a spiritual experience. I treat all of my instruments with great respect and typically kiss them after riyaz. It's just something I started to do

I also get into a great state of mind when singing with my harmonium as well. I feel soooo much more relaxed after I sing.

Indeed, it opens up the blood vessels and releases all those cool hormones, good for people with lung disease, just good therapy.... 8)
