Hello, I don't know if the ebay buyers will know what I have, therefor, letting you all know first. I have several sitars for sale.

1 student, full size "Radha Krishna Sharma"from 1998.
1 professional, full size, "Radha Krishna Sharma from early 1980's,
1 professional Hiren Roy, full size from 1970's.

The two professional sitars are nicer than anything being produced today. I know because I also have a professional Hiren Roy 1997 and Rikkhi Ram 1999.

If interested let me know. email thur this forum or thru yahoo/google or skype to "thanat101"

link to some photos of the two pro sitars: http://twitpic.com/1g2ue2

Sounds good. Your analysis seems valid as well. Hope they sell.

It is not "Hiron" - it is Hiren. Unles you actually have some sitars branded "Hiron Roy". Yes, please do supply some photos.

Hiron/Hiren
A Hiron might be worth a lot more, rather like those utterly superb Givson & Hobner guitars you can get here in India.

A Can-I Lal (if you really want to).
A Rickshaw Ram from Delhi. It carries itself back to your room!!! For a small fee, of course.

Any more?!!?!?

yes, its a "Hiren Roy". My spelling is not always the best. I have been to his son's shop in Calcutta several times, as well as Rikhi Ram in Delhi.

Yes, I have a professional, full size, "Radha Krishna Sharma from early 1980's, and the professional Hiren Roy, full size late 1960's. Its the one Tony K has referred to in his postings. He has pictures of the matching one in his museum gallery.

"Ledwig" is also making inroads into the market.
