Yes indeed, what a spectacular occasion...hopefully this will shut up some of the doom-mongers in the UK.

I Too recorded it off the BBC, however I also captured the pathetic BBC comentary and a cut short finale - thanks scheduling !!!!

YES YES YES re that bloody awful YAPPING that was NOT needed at all!!!!!
It couldn't just be for blind people as it never really described anything.
I too, feel the whole thing a fantastic, well staged & choreographed event
WELL DONE INDIA.
Now sort your poor people out!!

Cut short finale???
I seem to recall, although it ended later than scheduled on BBC 1, it DID end!

Cut short with some sort of political ramblings about "how well India had done to pull off a great show 'in spite' of all the bad press" which the Beeb clearly had to get in before the prog closed (so graciously) so they decided to say it over the top of AH - Jai Ho - Not that I'm a fan of the tune but it should have been allowed to play out.

What a great display of India's culture. 8)

Totally agree re: the commentary/media nay-sayers.

I thought the tribute to Mahatma Gandhi was very touching. Was the music Vaishnav Janato?
