I have been learning sitar since 1 year now. I have Radha Krishna Sharma Fully decorated sitar which I had bought 4 years ago, but used it for sometime and packed it back since last year when I again started learning.
I feel I want to buy one more sitar for myself.
I am thinking of two options.
1. Rikhi ram (RS style Kohinoor sitar) priced at INR.215,000 or
2. Barun Roy (RS style professional sitar). PRICED AT INR.55,000.
please advise.

55,000 for a Barun Roy is a very good price. Is it a used one? Where can you buy it for that price?

Hey Barend... One of my friend told me about it... He lives in Kolkata itself and he said I have to wait for 18 months to get Barun Roy.

That Rikhi Ram seems a bit overpriced????
So the Barun has to be preordered, eh?
