I was a member of this forum years ago, but I recently re-registered.

I've got a Shristi (I forget which model) sitar for sale. It is mostly unused, but has had a broken toomba that was repaired. It has sit for a number of years and could use some fret polishing etc. It's a very good quality sitar and would make a good instrument for a serious student. It has a very closed (less buzzy) jawari. The upper (neck mounted) toomba is missing. The instrument is still rather stiff and could do with a good "breaking in." It includes a fiberglass case, but the case has a rather large crack on the bottom-side (see photos.)

I decided to offer it first to members of this forum, so make me an offer. I'll consider anything reasonable. I don't know off-hand what shipping will be, but I'll be happy to negotiate anything with a buyer. It's located in central Texas, if you'd rather pick it up. You can contact me at chad3006 "at" yahoo "dot" com or via the private messages on this forum.
