DrTom has advised you correctly. For information on how to :

Please read this article on this site :https://chandrakantha.com/tablasite/articles/repair4.htm
This is a fairly informative article.

Further there is an older thread on this :https://forum.chandrakantha.com/post/repairing-quotbuzzquot-in-syahi-8669540

The one thing you would need to consider is : Do you have the knowledge to rehead these tablas? If you do - then it makes sense to repurpose the shells with new pudis.

I decided to work on my tabla to remove the annoying buzz from the crackled off syahi.

I did the most simple thing imaginable:

First I put some drops of water on the part of the syahi where it has come off and where the edges of the injury create the buzz.
Then I took a pebble I once found and rubbed it in a circular manner until the slightly soaked syahi was smoothed out.
While this is far from perfect because some syahi was missing, the buzz is now completely gone and I get a clear tone.

When I have the money, I will probably replace the pudi though. But this workaround was very very easy.
