... totally true, if you weren't rescuing these babes they'd probably be eaten by termites/rats etc and disappear into the dust of history.what a super fantastic gig you have there sleuthing up these instruments!!! amazing stuff and how cool to see all the design variations over the years.\ and what about all the constant stories of "the current generation has no interest in ICM and what-to-do etc." true in hindustani and karnatic traditions both.
but you can get them to UK and from THERE you worry about safe shipping.whaa-at?
since i stopped hoarding instruments,[ and in fact sold off much of my hoard], I don't even bother coveting these but in the not-too-distant past I would have rowed a container ship over there to snarf up any of them.yow!
