I was just digging through my 'travel drawer' where I store vaccination certificates, old tickets, hotel business cards, ski visor (what?), when I came across this gem:
===================================
S. No 279, Row E, Seat No. 19
A"Music Is Gold" Presentation
JUGALBANDI
Four great maestros in concert together

USTAD ALI AKBAR KHAN &
PANDIT RAVI SHANKAR
Ustad Alla Rakha, Ustad Zakir Hussain
on 7th Feb. '83 at 8 p.m.
Shanmukhanand Hall, Bombay

Rs. 25/-
===================================

Anyone else go?

More importantly - anyone record it?

Ah, OK, Axel
I assumed things were still normal because just the other day I had notification of a new CD
"
On February 6, Questz World will release a double-CD pack of Pandit Buddhadev Das Gupta - one of his best live performances so far! It will be inaugurated by the luminaries of Indian Classical Music, at G D Birla Sabhaghar.

Hi Axel - it was through facebook. If you don't have FB pm me with what you'd like to ask Swagato and I will message him on FB. Best I can do at the moment, the email I had for him was questz.com which as you rightly say isinactive.

If anyone was able procure recordings of either the Mumbai concert or the Durgapur concert, would they please upload it?
Thank you very much.

Swagato assures me -
"Well, Questz World is very much alive and releasing lots of new products on 'Indian Classical Music' genre. We are also re-developing the web site, with many new features."

He will email you direct, Axel,

For all, I'll be able to share a full catalogue tomorrow, hopefully.

All righty

I've zipped up the "Live in Durgapur" Concert and put it into the Public Folder of my DropBox- I'll keep it up for a few days

Dear Haywooj and Axel,

I'm sorry that I just don't have the words to thank you.
I was disappointed when, following Axel's link, I found that banglatorrents requires membership. Then, when I saw Haywooj's mail this morning, I was just overjoyed!

The download finished just a few minutes ago and I've started listening to Kaushi Kanara.

Thank you once again!

Regards,
