How does this compare with RiyazStudio?

The interface appears to provide much more info on where in the taal cycle you are

Hi,

Being a musician myself, I felt its best to design it in a way that is more reflective of the way music is traditionally learned: guru shysha paramara where not everything is written down, but the music is more felt through instinct. So the interface reflects those ideas, with minimal guidance to the student, in terms of showing beats etc. However, that's not to say I am not open to improving if there is enough feedback from users over time.

How it differs with Ryaz Tool, is that there are over 400 music loops of many instruments such as Sitar, Sarod, Tabla, Harmonium, Violin, Sarangi and vocal music. None of which has been done until now. The musicians are all well known contemporary musicians. The Tabla sangaat is very realistic in that it has variations, kaidas, relas with tihais and of course simple mode for novice.

Please feel free to ask me directly or on this forum. Please email me for get further discount coupon code at saathsangeet@gmail.com. I am greatful to David fo providing such fine forum to basically let the word out on this product.

Yes, however, there are sever of gaats and variations of those gats in different taals such as Tintaal, Jhaaptaal, Matta Taal, Pnachamsawari, etc. that sitar student probably will benefit a lot.

I like it, but I found the sarangi hard to listen to because it was so out of tune with the tanpura.. maybe should be updated?
This looks pretty cool, however.

The music Pitch and the Tanpura Pitch both has verticle slider bars, you will notice, which lets you fine tune the pitch to match exactly. Sometimes, instruments are not perfectly tune to exact frequcny of C, C# etc. The slider bar makes it possible to then finely adjust the pitch.
