which side should the high curved part of the frets be under? under the main string for meends? or should the flat side of the fret be on this side?

and why?

Well you will be an expert at tying frets after this project! The very curved end of the fret gooes under the chikari while the flatter end is for the main string. Good luck.

Do you already know about the traditional knot/tying method? It is available I believe on this site as well as silverbush music's site- diagrams. It works! As for looking forward to it... :x
