Here is an update for Jan 17.

Since yesterday I have reinstalled the navigation bar. Now users are not "trapped" once they get into the forums.

I have also worked on cleaning up misc. coding problems.

Dear Brothers and Sisters

This is just to let you know that the Jan 2001-June 2004 archives have been reinstalled. I expect the June 2004 to Jan 2006 archives to be reinstalled in a few days.

David -
It's not a big issue, but is there some way - if it's not terribly difficult to set the default Archives to appear by date in descending order - newest first ? That's make it a little easier to search for the articles that would be more often recalled.

Thanks a zillion once again for all of your hard work!

A.

Although it is not obvious to the user, there are fundamental differences between the archives, and the forums. The forums are driven by a data base (PHP/ MySQL). Therfore, it is very easy to display the pages in any way that one wishes. However, the archives are flat HTML pages. Rearranging this would be a very dificult task and would still not suit the tastes of many users.

Peace
