I vote Bilaval!

Ga, Ma Ga Re Sa Re....Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni Sa'!

Now, if you shift the tonic, you could say:
'Ni, Sa 'Ni 'Dha 'Pa 'Dha....'Dha 'Ni Sa Re Ga tivraMa Pa.

But I just hear that first "I'm" as a major third, so it starts Ga for me!

Also remember that that 'Ni Sa Re Ga ascent vould land you in ze cooler if played in Yaman!

I once charted out the sargam for the melody of Bing Crosby's Mele Kalikimaka, and learned it on sitar (requires a few bends to hit notes like komal Dha). Goodness knows why, but I did! Guess I should learn Charukeshi on my electric lapsteel (err, I mean, Poli'ahu Veena) to balance everything out.

Thanks. His name was Crip. That was so long ago (about 25 years) that I don’t even remember his full name. He was a senior person so I won’t call him ‘cat’ !

Tried some Jazz-guitar here:

Best Wishes
