Hmmm I roughly Got an Idea of what you are looking for but might be different.
There are many Laggis of this type.
Its a Keharwa Laggi and Goes this way.

DhaTe GeGe NaTin sKa | TaTe K-K NaDhin sKa

What you see is 8 beats. s - denotes a Silent space of 1/2 Beat.
Dha is normal Dha, Te is like the Te of TiTe(played with middle finger)
Ka to be Taken on syahi of the Dayan same way as the Te instead of the Ka of Bayan.

dha tin na gi da na ga tin na na||na tin na gi da na ga dhin na na, i use this one like dadra :

|dha-tinna | gidanaga | tin-nana || na-tinna | gidanaga | dhin-nana

dha ti dha gi da||ta ti ta gi da is also baddly written, it should be

dha ti dha gida||ta ti ta gida , because gi and da take only half a beat.
Ti can be played in any fashion, ressonant or non ressonant.
And play second ta louder then the first one in the phrase.

Also, concerning ge modulation, if you play gi sliding forward and Dha with full sound Ga. it gains a feeling of some animal jumping (there are other ways to modulate equally beautiful).

Another good one appears if you replace the second Dha and the second ta with nana
(both ressonant) and use ressonant ti ( =tin)

dha tin nana gida||ta tin nana gida

enjoy

One of my favorites for kherva:

dhadha gege naka tinna | tata gege naka dhinna

Where dhadha is played with only the first dha actually played: dhana
Gege is played with index, then middle finger on bayan.
Na of naka can be on the kinar for a flat na. Ka in fast speed ends up being Ga.
Tin of tinna is ka and tin together. And na of tinna is ne maidan on dayan.

Another variation is to play dhati gege naka tinna | tati gege naka dhinna.
