anyone have any info on madga?

I've searched the web and youtube, but no luck.

these are the only links I could find, the first one has a sound sample. It reminds me of hang drum with only one pitch.

http://www.indian-instruments.com/percussion/madga.htm

and there is this but it calls it 'nout' And it is not quite the same instrument. http://chandrakantha.com/articles/indian_music/nout.html

What kind of music would you find this instrument used in?
what instruments would accompany it?
In what ways does it's playing style differ from traditional carnatic ghatam playing?

thanks for any info you may have to share.

Try
MATKA

I uploaded at least ONE clip to Youtube of a Pakistani player along with the leading Al-Ghoza, that fabulous double flute from Rajasthan/Sindhi areas of India & Pakistan.
