I like the first one.
Definitely worth a look.

The second one is really odd.
Looks like it has a flat back.
Looking at the headstock it kinda looks like a Tanpura with sympathetic strings.
Could be wrong, but if you get it really cheap it could be interesting to see what it is.

Did you see that crazy sitar that was on ebay a week ago that had all of the jewels.
It had crazy big jewels covering everything. Even the second tumba was encrusted with shiny things. Crazy looking thing.
But was Bargarva so probably a total wreck as a sitar.

It looks really nice...but as we know looks ain't everything, wished I 'd seen it before my recent purchase...still I'm happy!

Nope. Greg, be happy.
you got a really cool old sitar.
It probably has a couple of issues, but will be a great sitar to own.
Most old sitars you can find have a few issues.
I have always wanted a Bird Head sitar.

Cheers CW, I fitted the small toomba properly last night and it does make a difference!

Trippy, if you live in London it's gotta be worth a visit!!!

A good second toomba really helps.
Did it not sound good before you put it on?
Could just need a good Jawari job.
