This is just a little note to let everyone know that we now have a series of Lahara (nagma) CDs for Tintal. This is an economical alternative to the expensive lahara boxes. Simply put the appropriate CD into your boom box or stereo, select the appropriate track, turn it on, and you will hear the nice repetitive natural melody against which you can play your kaidas, thekas, gats and whatnot. This is also useful for Kathak dancers.

For more information go to:

David,
I presume the instrument the instrument used for these recordings is a harmonium? Does it also contain a drone or tamboura? A short sample would be nice.

With all due respect, is this a genuine instrumental recording or a midi-based loop? :? Seriously, it doesnt sound like traditional nagma instruments I'm familiar with....?
