Daud,

I checked out your clip. Sounds very good. Good clarity and good sound production. Very good grasp of that time cycle. I've never played much Keherwa in Vilambit speed. Is there a theka you play for that, with variations?

If you will accept some constructive critism, around 2:30 I noticed you played some tirikitas there. I think with the speed, you lost some clarity and the strokes got a little sloppy. Also it almost sounded like like you were a little off beat, but I noticed you found the sam again and it was ok. You may want to spend more time practicing that at a slower speed. Otherwise, everything else sounded great and your bayan also had a nice sound. Good luck friend and keep up the great work. Take care.

Hello Gatabera,

Yes you are right about the sloppy terekete cycles. I mostly plan what I should play. I do that Just one cycle before starting the other verrision. But this Rela came just out of nowhere I don't know why. I play this rela with tina Kita Taka (Benares) but unfortunatelly I start to play this rela with tereketetaka (dehli). that is why I moved way a bit out of the correct speed.

The vilambit Kehrwa I played has a theka like every other taal. But there are no Kaida's in Kehrwa and Dadra. there are just verrisions and laggies instead of kaida's. You may play some tintal kaidas with dubble speed in Kehrwa but pay close attention to the speed and counting of the cycles.

Kehrwa Vilambit Theka:

Dha Tete Tin Tin
Ta Tete Dhin Dhin

the rela which I should have played:

Dha Tere kete Taka
Dha TereKete Taka
Dha Terekete Taka
tin- Na Kita Taka
+khali

What I all of a sudden played:

Dha Tere kete Taka
Tere kete Dha Tere
kete Take Tere kete
Dha Tere Kete Taka
+khali

thanks for the critism. I will for shure practice that verrision with slow speed as you suggested.

thanx bro.

regards
daud
