Fellow musicians,

I have for sale an outstanding Traditional Veena done by Murari Adhikari Kanai Lal for Ustad Asad Ali khan in the second half of the 1990s.
Reach sustain, deep carving, large dandi, customized fiber glass cases, pristine conditions.
For this gem I am asking 7.000 €.
The buyer must add the shipping costs.

In case of interest, please send me your email at :
nurfilms@hotmail.com
and I'll send you several high resolution pictures of the instrument and blow-up of details.

the Veena is in Europe but I can ship it accurately packed everywhere in the world.

best wishes for all of you,

Fabio Tanzarella.

That's a beautiful instrument!
I've never seen that badge, Mfg by Murari.
Are there any recordings of it?

To answer to the question of WESTSEA :

I had another traditional veena by Murari also done in the 1990s and the badge was very similar.

I believe it's the badge he used after Kanailal and Brother closed - he continued to make instruments under his name. the shop closed in the early (mid?) 90's, and Murari died in the early 00's, so that would've been the era for this type of badge.

Hi, all:
A nice Bin, alright: beautiful, rare & definitely not for everyone.

Westsea,

If you peek into Sitar Factory site you'll find a similar Bin+logo (well, it could be the same actually - couldn't it?: a long shot but what do I know...).

Have fun,
Y.
