WELLLL... THIS lovely old thing arrived undamaged from my friends in India, yesterday.
Watcha all think then?
I changed my original GP tuning back to KP as I felt it didn't suit THIS particular sitar. MUCH better now. Quite a 'big' sound not suitable, I feel, for GP playing.

Really nice carving but I don't think it IS a Hiren Roy as it has that peg between Re & Ga that HRs don't have - I was told by my betters on here. 
Have a near perfect toombi for it too, as you can see. It IS for sale as it doesn't suit MY playing style.
OFFERS PLEASE ?!!??! Preferable UK but if someone wants it bad enough.....
