I just had a friend link this to me, and was blown away to see such a lengthy and high-quality lecture demo by Mohiuddin and Fariuddin Dagar. They talk a bit about the basic philosophy/approach of Dhrupad, along with the primary techniques of expression. They give some really nice, isolated examples, that are then followed by a few short alap and bandish performances to demonstrate it all, with some additional commentary along the way.

Additionally, I find great joy in getting a glimpse at what these great maestros were like as individuals and teachers.

I had not heard of this video at all previously, so I figured I'd share it here in case others would appreciate learning about it.
