I recently brought a dilruba from India and when I got back to New Zealand I found that the neck had cracked. I went to youtube hoping to find some vids to help.me fix this but to no avail. I went to the paint shop who suggested I use an Amber color epoxy, mix two glues, take out the pegs, clamp it in place glue it then let it dry sand and paint if desired . They said that other glues would not get into the crack but this glue would seep in a fill the crack. I am a first time dilruba purchaser and I wish to learn this amazing instrument. Please any help would be much appreciated. I have added photos so plz have a look :)

Dear Bhajnam

Thank you for your email.

From the pictures, it does not look good. But you seem to be going
about it correctly.  There is a very high probability that when you get
finished the only lasting problems will be cosmetic.

Peace
