very nice!

one improvement comes to my mind. when speaking about bols/tals, maybe subtitles would help - writing on the screen what is being played.

All teachers willing to produce "How To" DVDs on Tabla should consider producing progressive trainings. There is no way one can learn or adopt from single DVD, so it should come in volumes one after another. Teacher should start from basic to beginner/intermediate/advance training in couple of volumes. There should be yahoo based forum support to answer questions from students of their training. As the new volumes come the new students can just search the archive and find answers to their questions for particular number of volume they have bought for the training. The online support will also create E- Gurubhais the ones who have learned the volumes produced already and willing to answer questions.

1. Produce basic DVD ( Foundation DVD going over basic method of creating correct sound of strokes)
2. Beginner DVD ( Basic Kaida. Relas, Gats, Tukra)
3. Intermediate ( Intermediate Kaida. Relas, Peshkars)
4. Advance ( Advance materials)
A teacher can produce more advance materials and sky is the limit from here. He/she should produce DVDs as if real life teacher is teaching his/her students.
