Hi,

I learnt this from Ghulam Ali's Cassette ...

Rela:
DhaGe TeTe DhaTi DhaGe TiNa KiNa
TaKe TeTe DhaTi DhaGe DhiNa GiNa!

Tihai:
DhaGe TeTe DhaTi DhaGe DhiNa GiNa
Dha Ti Dha _ DhaTi DhaGe
DhiNa GiNa Dha Ti Dha _
DhaTi DhaGe DhiNa GiNa Dha Ti /Dha

This is real nice Rela _ Kaida .. try it and enjoy

That sounds pretty much like a kaida to me, Surojeet, not a rela or kaida-rela. But how about this? Let's make it a chalan with three stages of development, with the third being a rela:

/Dha ti Dha/Dha tin na/Ta ti Dha/Dha Dhin na

the next stage is the composition you wrote:

/Dhaghe tete Dhati/Dhaghe Tina Kena/Take tete Dhati/Dhaghe Dhina ghena

And the third stage I made up to fit the composition:

/Dha-tira kitataka Dha-tete/Ghiranagha Tin-na- kiranaka
/Ta-tira kitataka Dha-tete/Ghiranagha Dhin-na- Ghiranagha

It's not perfect, but relas like this rarely fit the original exactly. It's just close enough though to fool the listener. hey, you can play tis in tintal too, in tisra jati.
