I did a google video search on sitar and came across a fantastic female sitarist that plays in the Imdhadkhani gayaki style. There is a video clip of her live, but the sounds is very very low. Here is an audio clip from her website. She can burn

here is another site I saw her on. it is a small clip with Jim Feist playing tabla with her. I don't know much about her but her site is great and whatever i have heard online was good

She is a very accomplished sitar player. She is student of Pt. Bimalendu Mukherjee ( father of Buddhaditya Mukherjee). She recently performed in NJ. Unfortunately I could not attend.

hi jay,

yea Anupamaji plays very nicely. i especially admire her tone and relaxed feeling. she's one of the most tuneful players around now in my opinion.
