I just bought an iPod Touch specifically for iLehra. After recommending it to colleagues and students since it has been out ... I finally listened to my own advice!

Prasadji - please add more lehras! Especially in Dhammar and some of the other less common taals. There are a wealth of lehras available in David Courtney's books and elsewhere on the web... Also, any possibility of sarangi?

Many thanks for this great software. iLehra and iTabla are excellent tools for learning and performing ICM. I'm starting to see more and more iPads and iPods onstage, and less tanpura boxes...

Hi Prasad,

I have both and think they are very nice applications.
I am a sitarist so I didn't really need iLehra, but I like having different tools just in case so I got it anyway.
I find iTanpura very useful though.
Sometimes I just want to take the sitar into a room and practice a little without dealing with computers and speakers etc.
The iTanpura is cool because I can just take the iPhone with me, and I have instant tanpura accompaniment.
I also like that there is a fine tuner so I dont have to retune the sitar to the iTanpura.
You just set it to a tone and then slide the tuner bar to fine tune it to your instrument.
Works perfectly.

Now I request you make one that does both tanpura AND tabla beats.
I would love to find an affordable iPhone app for that.
Make it and I will buy it for sure.

Yup, it has good sound and is nicely adjustable.
There are settings for tanpura with Pa, Ma, Ni, etc, plus some odd ones for unique ragas.
And you can save your settings.
The best part is the fine tuner though.
I love being able to tune the Tanpura to my sitar and not the other way around.
Cool app all round.
Especially for $14.

It is great that you will do a Tabla/Tanpura application.
I look forward to it, and I will certainly buy it when available.
Try to keep the price reasonable though.

There is a tabla app for iPhone, but they want $120.
Too high.

I liked that your apps were $14.
That is a good price.
I didn't hesitate to buy them.

Thanks again.
You are doing good work.

Yeah, got it. Good effort indeed!

Are you planning to add any other raags to the lehras? Also, maybe Sarangi as an instrument? Look forward to further development.
Thanks.

Hi,

I must say I am amazed by the iLehre software and find it extremely useful when practicing tabla.

Now could you please add the taal Dipchandi to your next release of software and when are you planning to release the next version.

Once again thanks a ton for this magnificent software.

Dear Prasad,

I just bought the Itablapro App and it's wicked! Is there anything in the Ilehra Appa that's not in the Itablapro App?

Thanks!
