Hey all!

I just had a tiny little moment of clarity whilst playing with (not really playing) my sitar. I had run up & down through the scale until my fingers complained (like 3 times), and then I tried some meend-ing, because I like the sound!
When I began the scale again at Sa, I could tell all was not right. It took me a while to realize that I had stretched my new string out of tune. I'm still pretty excited that I could tell that something was wrong.

Not something worth mentioning for most of you, but a big day for this guy, I assure you!

I'm having a lot of fun with this thing. I've learned of, and hope to meet a local ICM enthusiast sometime soon. Should be fun to pick his brain

There's a few of us somewhat near you in Seattle, also in Portland but probably not in George, Biggs or The Dalles although you never know....

I'm told that there is a fellow in Hood River that is wise in the ways of the sitar.

We'll see!
