I composed this for my teacher. He really liked it - thought I'd share it here as well.

Lyrics:

nikasat naahin nikaas guru bin

chalan kaiday rele rav
kabb hai kinaar kabb lav
guru saadhey haath jab
baney baayen kee goonj tab

loosely translated :

not possible to figure out nikas without guru

chalan kaidas relas rav
when is kinar when is lav (sur)
guru fixes(develops) your hand when
the baya starts to boom(resonate) then

Thanks - I was getting a bit concerned that 65 views and 0 responses meant I had taken the act of force-feeding my output down the forum-members throats a tad too far .. :-)
